Privacy policy
Your journal and your choices deserve a private space. This policy explains the current local version of SinPánico and this website.
Controller and contact
The controller of SinPánico is Sin Panico, based in the Dominican Republic. For privacy questions and requests about your data, email soporte@sinpanico.com.
Information stored by the app
You can store preferences, consents, favourites, journal notes, intensity records, exercise sessions and trusted contacts you enter on your device. Automatic history starts off; saving a journal note is an explicit action.
The current local version works without an account. It does not sync your journal to the cloud or send your records to SinPánico servers. Connected AI, purchases, commercial advertising, analytics and remote crash reporting are not active in this version.
Protecting your records
Sensitive local content is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key protected by the system's secure storage. The entire database is not encrypted: identifiers, record types, dates and deletion markers may remain visible as metadata.
You can configure a PIN or biometric protection. The operating system handles biometrics; SinPánico does not receive your fingerprints or facial template. Forgotten-PIN recovery requires confirmation of local data loss before removing the lock. Losing the encryption key may also make your records unrecoverable.
Optional permissions
- Health: if you choose to connect a compatible integration, read access to heart-rate and sleep data is requested. Samples are displayed locally; SinPánico does not write new samples, persist them in its database or send them to AI, advertising or analytics. You can revoke access in system settings.
- Contacts and location: you enter trusted contacts manually; the app does not read your address book. Location is obtained only when you choose to share it through the system options, never in the background. You choose the recipient and confirm sharing.
- Notifications: local reminders are enabled by your choice and require permission. You can disable them in the app or system settings.
Voice and transcription through AI providers are not active in the current local version. This website does not request microphone, location, contacts or health access.
Retention and control
History is kept for 90 days by default. You can change this under Settings → Privacy center → Keep records (days). Cleanup runs when opening the database and when changing this preference; this does not mean all configuration data expires after 90 days.
Export my data creates a readable JSON file containing your records and preferences. Anyone you share it with can read it. Exported copies are under your control and that of their recipients.
Delete my history removes journal notes, check-ins and sessions from the device. It does not erase all configuration, contacts or an account. See Delete data and account for steps and limitations.
This website and support messages
This site does not include analytics, advertising, tracking cookies or forms. Hostinger, the hosting provider, may process connection information such as IP address, time, requested resource and browser to serve and protect the website. Logging and retention depend on the hosting configuration.
If you email us, your address, message and any attachments you choose to include are processed to handle your question or request. Do not send passwords, access codes or unnecessary sensitive information.
Requests and changes
Email soporte@sinpanico.com to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent to support, or to ask about exercising your privacy rights. Records stored only on your device are not accessible to us. Do not disclose your journal to request technical help.
SinPánico is intended for adults. We will update this policy if the practices described change. Any future activation of connected features will require information about the relevant data, providers and conditions before use.
