Delete data and account
The current local version does not require an account. You can export your records or delete history directly on your device.
Delete local history
- Open Settings in SinPánico.
- Go to Privacy center.
- If you want to keep a copy, choose Export my data and protect the exported file.
- Select Delete my history, read the warning and confirm.
This removes journal notes, check-ins and sessions. It cannot be undone from the app. It does not erase all configuration or trusted contacts, and it does not delete exported copies held by you or someone else.
Keep records (days) lets you adjust history retention. The default is 90 days.
If you forgot your PIN
Use the recovery process shown by the app. It requires confirmation of local data loss before removing the lock. It does not allow locked records to be exported or the key to be recovered through support.
If you have an account from a connected version
Account creation and deletion are not available in the current local version. If your version offers a connected account, the steps are Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm the warning and complete reauthentication using your password or linked provider.
That flow asks the backend to delete the account and its associated data. Only after a successful response does the app clear its local data and lock. If the service is unavailable or shows an error, do not treat the request as completed remote deletion.
Deleting local history is different from deleting an account. If a version includes a store subscription, deleting data or an account does not automatically cancel it; manage it through Apple or Google.
If you cannot open the app or need help
Email soporte@sinpanico.com with the subject “Delete data”. Tell us whether your request concerns records stored only on your device, information sent to support or an account from a connected version. Do not send passwords or codes.
We can guide you and handle requests concerning information we can access, verifying ownership where needed. We cannot remotely erase or recover records in a local installation. Exported copies, device backups and records that stores must retain depend on whoever manages them.
